Welcome to the Homepage of the artist Lea Littrow!
Lea Littrow, daughter of the director of the nautical academy in Trieste and niece of the founder of the Vienna Observatory, was born into and old aristocratic family in 1860. The coastal landscape around Trieste where she grew up and which she therefore knew since early childhood became one of her most important and favorite motives. Because she studied in Paris she was deeply influenced by the French impressionists and the friendship with the Austrian paintress Olga Wisinger-Florian left its traces too.
